This weekend we had a sleep over with Harper, a.k.a, Aing from Avatar. She and Megatron, a.k.a Austin were off to a fighting start the minute we were in the car. "I'm Aing, I going to Air bend you." "No, MEGATRON ARRRRRRG (sound effects of transforming Austin into Megatron)."" There's Aing flying in the air" "Nos snot. It's Megatron" "No its Aing." "No Megatron......" and so on and so forth.
At home, they were able to transform and air bend. This is where the real battles took place. Mostly it was just them running around in circles talking in 3 yr. old code that only they could understand. That night we had some cheese pizza, watched some Avatar episodes and went to bed.
It was a tight squeez on the air mattress with Ellie, Austin, Harper and all of Harpers bedtime comforts:sippy cup of milk, pink amber, Aing stuff toy, pink
blanket, flash light, and Avatar book. All were snug as a bug in a rug.
For breakfast we had a request for avatar pancakes and flower waffles. Mom worked her magic with the help of whip cream and chocolate chips. It's a good thing kids have a good imagination. Through a 3 year olds eye they could see Aing in their pancakes.
That afternoon we made some creative valentine cookies and played in the snow. It was a great weekend. We love Harper so much and hope to have many more sleepovers with her.
